La grande virée des sentiers in St-Bruno is just a beautiful little race. The course passes through woods, around a lake and is altogether refreshing after all those asphalt racecourses I've been doing lately.
This race was special for me because my running partner M. raced for the first time. I was anxious for her to have a good time and was especially wary that my good intentions would lead to the road to Hell as they so often do. Things turned out well, except for a case of sunstroke for her a few hours later.
